The Intern!

"I still have music in me, absolutely positive about that!"

Since I have my Archaeology exam tomorrow, and I abysmally lack the knowledge to write it, I decided to motivate myself and watched the movie, "The Intern". 

The Intern is a delightful, feel-good movie that strikes a perfect balance between humor, warmth, and life lessons.

Directed by Nancy Meyers, the film tells the story of a 70-year-old widower, Ben Whittaker (played by Robert De Niro), who takes on a senior intern position at an online fashion startup run by the driven and ambitious Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway, not gonna lie, just watched it again for her and her alone... I just Love her so much).

Anyways...

The chemistry between De Niro and Hathaway is simply wonderful. De Niro brings a calm, wise, and likable presence to his role, while Hathaway’s portrayal of a modern-day entrepreneur struggling to balance her personal and professional life is both relatable and inspiring. Their evolving friendship is the heart of the movie and is handled with such warmth and care that it feels incredibly genuine.

The film's message about intergenerational respect and the importance of staying active and relevant, no matter your age, is uplifting. It’s refreshing to see a movie that treats its older characters with dignity and shows the value they bring to the workplace and society.

Visually, the film is stylish and polished, with Meyers' signature attention to beautiful interiors and settings. The pacing is smooth, with moments of light humor seamlessly mixed with more touching scenes that resonate on a deeper level.

I swear to God, I got tremendously motivated, yet I studied only two pages.. But hey, atleast I did it. 🏃🏻‍♀️

Eminently recommends this movie. Do watch it when you feel low mate.
