Enawa Yanawa

Uhm, yeah you might get confused by my title. Yet, My Sinhala mates would get it, obviously.

"Enawa" and "Yanawa" are two Sinhala words which means "Comes" and "Goes".

And if you are following my blogposts, you would know that what comes and goes for me 🫠

Yes, it's peace!

Trust me mate, I was the happiest of all (sharon, stop, I've already given you an explanation for this before.. so stop [if you did not get this 'Sharon reference', uhm! You gotta follow my blogposts mate] )..

Yeah, back to my story. I was the happiest of all. I spent my day with my people. And hey we won the match against Bangladesh. I meant the cricket match between India (men) and Bangladesh (men). India won by 86 runs. I was euphoric.

Nevertheless, I switched from India (men) vs Bangladesh (men) to Sri Lanka (women) vs India (women). That's when I got traumatized.

I support India (men) and Sri Lanka (women) in cricket. That's where the trouble began. India (women) won the match against our girls (Sri Lanka (women)). Aaaaahhhh! How can I take this?

On one side, WE WON and on the other WE DID NOT

This is sports

This might sound fatuous or facetious. Still it is an important thing to me.

SPORTS is hard to take up and keep up with. It breaks you mentally and physically.

Even so, sports is our happiness. I was joyous when India (men) won and cried when India (women) won. That's game. You cannot expect everything to go your way.

Aaah! You see? Life lesson.

Man, I love sports.. I love Cricket.!

(This is a verbal representation of a sports person or a sports fan.. It's hard mate, neither you nor I know on what mood we are. That's how hard we go on sports).

General warnings aside....

Here's a gentle reminder from Sir Jimmy Neesham:
